Workshops

Do you have a workshop idea? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

Workshops can be on any topic you find interesting. We’re open to crafts, or discussions, or workshops on chants. Ideally pagan or magical in nature, there is still a lot of room for workshops on any topic.

Our only rule – all workshops must adhere to the Code of Conduct.

When you send in your application, we need to know a few things:

  • General outline of workshop.
  • How much time you need (Max: 2 hours including set up and tidy up).
  • Is there a cap for numbers who can attend your workshop – and how many.
  • Is there a cost to cover supplies for your workshop – and how much.
  • If there is a cost, we will advertise it, remind folks, but you are responsible for collecting it.
  • Do you need to be inside or outside?

There are two designated spots for workshops, unless we have so many people wanting to run them that we need to decide upon a third area!

These are:

  • inside the hall at the end furthest away from the kitchen. There are seats and tables available. Ideal for more lecture type workshops, as well as discussions.
  • The Ritual Area. Ideal for dancing, chanting, incense making and similar type workshops. Anything that involves noise or movement should be run here.

We will not be accepting workshops that discriminate against others, nor violate our community standards.

You will be required to clean up after your workshop and make sure that the place is left ready for the next workshop. If you start to run over, expect to have one of the organisers doing an interpretive dance of “wrap it up” close by. (Personally, I think that Parsley is going to have the best interpretive dance… )
